Our Story

Hello and welcome to my website! My name is Colton Courtney, founder and owner of C-Squared Productions since 2016. What started as an outlet for creativity as a child became a full time gig when I hit college and decided to use my skills I had learned making films to create my own media production company. I shot events, potraits, commercials, and anything I could be a part of to grow and network. After finishing college I had built a client base and decided to commit to my business and do it full time. Now 9 years later, I live and work in Wilmington, NC telling interesting visual stories for clients all across North Carolina and the world. I started in Real Estate shooting home photos and video tours and quickly branched out to commercials working with small businesses, non-profits, individuals, and brands learning more about the production process and perfecting my craft at every turn. It pays my bills and fills my heart with joy to help clients reach their audience and gain real traction and customers as well as helping them communicate what they really care about when it comes to their business. I make every video engaging and incorporate emotion into my storytelling to connect my clients to a large audience. Researching and strategizing on how to do that is the most fun job in the world. Today in 2025 I am grateful to still be creating videos and telling stories for a living.
